How is the price calculated?
The best way to work out how much GST is included in a price is to divide the total price by 11. To find out the price without GST divide the total price by 11 and then multiply that figure by 10.

To register for GST in Australia you need to have an Australian Business Number (ABN). With this, visit the Australian Tax Office to begin the registration process. You can register via the online business portal, phone the ATO or via your registered tax agent.
